About this badge

Participants in the Advanced Permaculture Design Certificate explored and developed permaculture theory beyond the basics of the Permaculture Design Certificate course. Students chose an advanced design project track at one of four levels: broad scale rural farm or ranch, urban neighborhood or community development, educational institution or organization, or commercial property business development. Each design project track required an in-depth site analysis and a design plan that was reviewed and based on topic research. The instructor reviewed all projects and provided personalized feedback.

As part of this course, the participants utilized the following:

  • Strategic tools to implement permaculture design process professionally.
  • Sustainable design methods for: rural farm or ranch, urban neighborhood or community, commercial property or educational institute.
