This person consistently goes above and beyond and always has the best interest of the Safety Program and Rec. Sports in mind. They have stuck with our team through a lot of changes and have put in so much work into their role as a Senior Associate. This person doesn't hesitate to ask questions about what they can improve or how to help another team member. The Oregon State University (OSU) Department of Recreational Sports focuses on developing the career readiness and well being of their 400+ student employees through experiential learning and fostering transformative learning opportunities. These efforts find synergy via On-Ramp, a career readiness platform developed by the OSU Department of Rec Sports in alignment with the Oregon State University Division of Student Affairs goal of transformative learning to innovate and advance inclusive, transformative learning that promotes student success throughout the college career and prepares and inspires all graduates to thrive in a global society. On-Ramp focuses on developing seven primary competency areas among student employees based on research findings from the National Association of Colleges and Employers. The seven competency areas include: Leadership Communication Critical Thinking/Problem-Solving Teamwork/Collaboration Professionalism/Work Ethic/Career Management Global/Intercultural Fluency Digital Technology
