About this badge

Rec Sports Champions are student employees who have consistently distinguished themselves among their peers for their outstanding effort and commitment over their tenure at OSU Rec Sports. These are staff members who create and promote attitudes, behaviors, and a work environment that contribute to a culture of well-being. They are standout leaders who foster an inclusive environment, strive to excel while also pushing others to continuously improve.

Brody stepped into a leadership role at the beginning of this academic year, during one of the most challenging times all of us have been faced with. Since the first day that he was back on campus last summer, Brody has consistently been an example for others to follow and a bright spot in our organization. He has been dependable, encouraging, empathetic and kind to those around him and continuously seeks out opportunities for growth and improvement for himself and his staff members. Although Brody’s time at Recreational Sports has not been as long as we hope it could be, his positive impacts will be felt for years to come among our staff and community. Thank you, Brody for all of your dedication and genuine care. You will surely be missed!
